The King of the Hill pool is a weekly football pool that starts the first week of the NFL season and will last until there is only one player remaining or the season ends, which will result in a split among the remaining players.

The object of the game is to pick one NFL team each week (with no point spread) without picking the same team more than once. (i.e; if you pick New England in week one, you can’t pick them for the rest of the season) Everyone has there own strategy.

If your team wins OR ties you move on. If your team loses, then you are out of the pool and the remaining participants will thank you for your donation.

The pool is $25. Winner takes all minus a 10 percent deduction for running the pool.

The size of the pool seems to be growing every year or stays around the same. It’s gone from 52, 72, 129, 118 and last year was 113 people. So the jackpot could range from $2000-$3000. This year we will do a second pool around week 4.

Hopefully everything will go smoothly but you know the Internet and applications. We could have problems so I ask you to verify your picks each week and throughout the season and let me know if there are any problems or enhancements you would like to see.
